Concealed Handgun Permits  

The Clerk of Court and her staff are required to follow statutory guidelines when processing Concealed Handgun Permit applications.  The Concealed Handgun Permit shall be issued within 45 days of the application being filed with the Circuit Court Clerk. 

Completed applications for RESIDENT permits shall be submitted to the circuit court of the county or city in which the applicant resides.

Pricing

• A NEW Concealed Handgun Permit costs $45.00 for RESIDENTS.
• A RENEWAL Concealed Handgun Permit costs $45.00 for RESIDENTS.
• A Replacement Concealed Handgun Permit for an ADDRESS CHANGE costs $10.00.
• A Replacement Concealed Handgun Permit for a NAME CHANGE costs $5.00.
• A Replacement LOST or STOLEN Concealed Handgun Permit costs $5.00. 

A non-refundable application fee is required. If you wish to submit an application online, a service fee of 5.00 is required to process payment. These fees will be charged even if your application is denied or the process is not completed by the applicant

Applications will be processed between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
